Vintage Guy Greetings

This card was voted and picked by the design team from Cards in Envy as a First Class badge: “winner#14 Stouten, In the Mailbox as Lisa’s Personal Favorite”

With this card I was also a WWYS challenge #12 Winner

I really like the stampset Guy Greetings. You can’t do so much with this set. This time I made a Vinatage Man Card.
I used the technique where you tap your inks on a piece of plastic, spray with a little water and  pull your card through the ink. You never know what the outcome will be and it will never be the same.

Background Ink: Ranger Distress Ink: Frayed Burlap | Scattered Straw | Wild Honey
Ink: Early Expresso | Soft Suede
Paper: Verry Vanilla | Soft Suede
Stampsets: SU Guy Greetings | Kaizerkraft Diamonds | Tim Holtz Bitty Grunge

April Showers Bring May Flowers

A lot of challenges have the theme: April Showers Bring May Flowers. Time to use the stamp: Gorjuss Puddles of Love.

The background is made with Distress Ink that I put on my craft sheet and misted with water. Than I swiped a panel of watercolor paper through the sprayed areas.
For the raindrops I used my handmade stamp (see picture below). First I stamped the raindrops with a light blue ink and than I added glossy accents with Dimensional Magic .
I also used the glossy accents on the boots, now they look like real yellow gumboots!
